I have a Jandy SPA blower 1-480-2 2HP 240V that started making a high noise, comparable to the tornado siren. It lowers a little after 30 seconds, but still way higher that it was before.
Is there something I can check to have it smoth and if I go for a replacement, which one do you recommend?

Hi Eduardo, it sounds like the bearings on your blower might be going bad or the brushes are nearing the end of their life. You can try to replace the motor, but this Silencer Blower 2.0HP 220V (6320220F) is the same cost as a new motor and would be an excellent replacement.

There shouldn't be if you replace the whole blower assembly, though you may want to be sure they both have the same sized PVC pipe at the end (I believe both are meant to mount onto 2" PVC pipe).
