Hello,
I have an Intex sand filter .
For winter storgae - do I need to diassemble the filter and take out the sand or can I leave the sand inside the filter and store the filter as ?

Hello Leo - You do not need to remove the sand. Just remove the drain plug and let the water drain out. Then you can take the filter inside for storage.
