My pump recently went out, I have ordered a new motor but need to know what I can do in the meantime to keep it clean.

Hi Matt930,
I would add liquid chlorine to the pool each day, also if you have a chlorine floater I would put some tablets in the floater. If you don't have a chlorine floater you can put tablets in the skimmer basket but make sure to remove those tablets once the pump is back up and running as they can damage your pool equipment. The main thing would be to keep a chlorine residual in the pool in the 3.0 to 5.0 parts per million (PPM).
