I have a 58000 gallon outdoor pool that I would like to convert to a salt water system and was wondering if you had any recommendations?

Hello Maranson - We'd be glad to assist you. Most of our residential salt systems are maxed out at 60k gallons. A residential 60k gallon system may struggle to keep up with the chlorine demands during the hottest times of the year.

We have commercial systems that can create more chlorine but you're paying 5X more. You'd be better off getting two residential systems.

My suggestion would be to go with two 40k systems. Something like the Pureline Crystal Pure PL7700. If you want to roll the dice on one 60k unit, we recommend the Pureline Crystal Pure PL7703.

Thanks for the info! So if I did the two 40k systems, would you install them in series or parallel?

That is a good question. The salt cells should be installed in a parallel fashion. The chlorine production is much more efficient when the cells are not plumbed in one after another.
