Having a problem with my pump slowing losing prime. I have no problem doing a backwash. I can get it pumping as it should and it progressively loses prime to where there is barely any water coming out of the jets. Any suggestions?

Hi JimmyLee,
Sounds like there is air getting into the system. When your pump is running (and there is barely any water coming through the jets, is the pump full of water ie: if you look in the sight glass on the pump, is it full of water?
When the pump is running in filter mode, is there any water coming out of the backwash pipe?
Do you see any air bubbles in the sight glass when the pump is running?
