Guys, I badly need your help. There's this special someone of mine, who asked for my help. They're planning to build an olympic pool ( Length 50m, Width 25m, Depth 2m, Volume= 2 500 000 Liters). The problem is, I don't know what's the correct pump to be used for the filtration system of this olympic pool. I don't even have an idea about its filtration system. PLEASE HELP. My future love life will depend on this. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Hi Zalde03,

We definitely don't want to mess up your love life =) An Olympic swimming pool is 2,500,000 Liters or 660,000 gallons. Typically a commercial pool like this needs a pump to turn over the entire body of water in 6 hours so this would be a pump with an output of 1,833 Gallons per Minute (GPM). Based off of these #'s I would estimate that you would need a quantity of 4 of the Speck 7.5 HP 95 Pumps in a standard plumbing situation these pumps can output 400 gallons a piece. On a pool this size, it would be best to have an engineer / builder double check the pump recommendation as there are quite a few variables that can come into play. Please let me know if you have any questions, pool questions that is, not relationship questions, well I can try on the relationship questions but not sure how good my advice will be =)

Thanks
