I think my start capacitor is bad, I take the rear cover off and spin the shaft to start the pump.  I took the hump cover off and tried to get the numbers off the capacitor to re-order.

Two questions,

1.) Is this the start capacitor or the run capacitor?

2.) The glue from the gasket has destroyed the label and I cant read it.  Does anyone know what capacitor I should use?

Hi Frank,

Could you post a few photos of your capacitor, motor, and pump? This would help us determine the correct capacitor for you.

Thank You

Hi FrankB,

Thanks for the photos! I was hoping I could pull the spec's off of your capacitor but of course, that is in the section where the label is peeled off =) I have reached out to our sales rep. for our motor manufacturer and I hope to have an answer for you shortly.

Thanks

Patrick

Hi FrankB

I finally heard back on this...

The capicator on top of the motor under the capicator cover is the run capacitor.

Replacement Capacitor Part: 628318-308
