We recently had a metal building built near our salt water pool. Tiny metal particles settled onto our fiberglass steps leaving yellow stains that look like sand or dirt. Liner appears to be fine. I applied a liquid metal remover product to the water but it did not remove the stains from the steps. I have also scrubbed areas within reach with simple green and tilex. A few years back, I purchased a product from a local pool store that was used to sprinkle over fiberglass steps to keep them white but I have been unable to find this product and can not remember what it was called. The texture of this product was tiny grains a little larger than baking soda. Please advise what product I can use to remove these unsightly stains.

Yes, you can absolutely use the Step Stuff by itself.

Can I just ust the Jack's Magic Step Stuff. The Stain Free seems a little more complicated in that you have to get your levels to a certain point.

Hello Brenda - We have a couple products that will work on your pool steps. The first is the Jack's Magic Step Stuff. It's a 2-part kit that removes common stains. The second is Stain Free by Natural Chemistry. This is an industrial strength ascorbic acid.
