Hi INYO team,
When installing pool valves (check, diverter, multi-port, etc.) should you remove the internal mechanisms prior to gluing the valves when installing them?

Frankie - It depends on the make and model of the valve. We recommend following the instructions from the manufacturer. I know Jandy recommends taking the internals out of their diverter valves before gluing. The internals on most check valves and multiport valves do not need to be removed.
