Hi - I'm about done with the Pump and Sand filter that we just purchased. It arrived quickly! We put the sand into the filter as the instructions stated, but now that it is time to put the lid on, there is about a 1/4" gap, and we are unable to fully close it!
We're really hoping to not have to take all the sand out and start again. Is there a trick to this? So far, there isn't any water in the tank.
