From my childhood onwards we had a pool in our home. I learned swimming there. I’ve seen my parents covering the pool using nets to avoid debris. Now we have a swimming pool in our new home. As this is the fall season my pool needs to be maintained well. I followed the same method which were opted by my parents but covering the pool with net alone won’t be much effective. So I’ve searched for blogs providing tips to maintain pool cleanliness during autumn and winter. I found a blog which is really informative ( http://www.ferraripools.com/blog/pool/simple-tips-to-maintain-your-pool-this-fall/   There they mentioned about soaking sand filters in sand filter cleaners but I’m not familiar with any of such cleaners. Can anyone suggest one?

Hello RubyKBlack - We'd be glad to assist you. We have a product to help improve the efficiency of a sand filter but you don't actually soak the sand in it.

We would recommend our Sand Aid Cleaner. Tha Sand Aid removes sun tan lotions, body oils and other orgnaic materials that can clog up your sand filter system.

Check out our guide on winterizing an inground pool or winterizing an above ground pool.
