I have a inground pool with an American Products 10" pool light that was installed in 1997. The light stopped working last year. I Just pulled it out of the wall and see American Products, Lamp replacement part number 993650 and gasket part number 791016. The sticker says it's a 500 watt 120 V fixture with a R40 bulb. What bulb can I use in this fixture? I don't see these part numbers and have not taken the light apart yet. I assume the bulb screws in like a regular light bulb?? Can I test it by screwing any bulb in to make sure all the electrical is good to the light?
