I am trying to replace a skimmer on an older pool. The one I bought it's a Hayward and the opening is too small and will not work. I have no idea what brand my original is. The only name I see on the lid says Atlantic and I see S360 also on the skimmer I see US Patent NO 5285538. The opening on the pool wall is 13 7/8.x 7 1/4. The measurement for the faceplate is 15 5/8 x 9 1/8. The original skimmer wide mouth measures 16 1/8 x 9 5/8.

Oh man, I have the exact same skimmer and exact same problem. I bought a "wide-mouth" replacement, but it's just a little too small. Did you ever track down the model?
My internal parts say S360, S340, S330
