Hello Reilly19812003 - We'd be glad to assist you. The correct replacement motor would be model B2854.
We would also recommend replacing the seals when you replace the motor. Based on the numbers provided, I'll assume you have the Hayward Tri-Star pump. The seals that should be replaced are the shaft seal, housing ring and diffuser o-ring.

Hi - I am trying to find a drainage plug for an A.O. Smith Century booster pumpThe info on the pump says 1081 Pool Pump, The part number for the motor (not the part I am looking for ) is 0-173840-23. 3/4 HP It's the little screw in plug to drain the motor I believe

Jimmy, those plugs are actually attached to the front pump housing(wet end) that the motor attaches to. If you can locate a model or maybe a part number off of the front housing somewhere we may be able to locate the plug for you.
