Hi, I would like to know which pump I need for a rectangular pool size 19ft x 10ft x 5.5ft
i tried to calculate with your instruction but got stucked with the head calculations. On top of that I am a woman with no experience in this factor. I just want to recalculate my received quotation from a local pool builder; to be sure that I am not wrongly informed.

Hello Sheryn - Without knowing the feet of head we really can't recommend a single speed pump. However, I would recommend looking at a variable speed pool pump. Since the speeds can be changed, it's not as crucial to nail down the feet of head. Based on the pool size, I would recommend something like Pureline model PL2605. This is a 1.65 total HP pump.
