My 17 yr old pool pump is hideously loud

Was wondering if I could replace this pool pump with a Pentair pump. This pump served us well, no problems until now and its just really, really loud. We're up here in CNY and our pool season is April to sometimes mid October. I've always ran the pool pump 24/7 and when we close the pool I bring the pump and chlorinator inside. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Thanks!
