We bought a home with what I have been told is an old and outdated skimmer system. The intake and return are in a very similar area so it's not efficient, especially with a heater.
The fabric skimmer bag rests inside a 3-4 foot long black tube that almost appears solid but it is porous. The fabric bags float up when swimmere are in the pool creating space for leaves and debris to get pulled into the drain lineS it also doesn't seem like there is a line to connect w vacuum to.
Any help with identifying the make & model. Any experience with the pro's and cons of this design?
