I just bought a 2-speed Century pump motor B2975 (230v) It did not come with a switch. I want to wire a HI-OFF-LO toggle switch (815-4011B by Waterways) into the motor.

Wires that provide power from the electrical panel are:

2 brown wires carrying 115v each

1 green ground wire

The top of the terminal board has an L1, L2, A, and Ground.

Coming in from the motor to the UNDERSIDE of the terminal board are the following:

1 white wire to A

2 yellow wires to L1

1 yellow w/black stripe to L2

The toggle switch has 3-positions and 3-blades:

Position 1 (HI) has a black wire

Position 2 has a purple wire

Position 3 (LO) has a yellow wire

What goes to what? I am lost right now

Wires that provide power from the electrical panel are:

2 brown wires carrying 115v each - Connect one of them to L2. The other one will connect to Purple wire from switch using a wire connector.

1 green ground wire - Green Terminal Screw

Position 1 (HI) has a black wire - Connect to A terminal

Position 2 has a purple wire - Connect to the free brown wire that wasn't connected to L2.

Position 3 (LO) has a yellow wire - Connect to L1 on Terminal
