I usually put D.E powder inside the Filter tank, before putting back the filter itself, after cleaning it. My question is, is that okay?

We suggest putting the DE powder in the skimmer as outlined in our Video on How to Replace DE Powder.

but sir, our pool have no skimmer, is there an another way to introduce the DE powder in the Filter tank.?

I have heard of pool owners using a funnel with a flexible hose that you can get from an auto parts store. You add your slurry of DE powder to the funnel and put the hose into the vacuum port of the DE valve to evenly coat your grids.
