I have an inground pool/spa setup with the spa being above the pool.
I am having water drip some times in spurts from the candy cane pvc lines by the filter assembly. I have been advised these are safety devices so that nobody gets stuck on a drain. This dripping happens when the filter pump is on. I usually have the spill over running at the same time. These candy canes are are about 4' high.
I am having a pool leak and had a company come out to test for leaks. They had to cut these candy canes to do their testing and I have noticed the problem since, though not sure if happening before since it is on the side of the house.
They raised the height on one candy cane and appeared to solve the problem but I noticed water dripping from the other. He advised the candy canes should be at a heights above the pool and spa water levels. I assume a candy cane for the pool and one for the spa?
Not sure if I sure just add some height to the one that is dripping??
Any help on this ould be appreciated.
