You bet! Your JHP1.5 pump uses an uprated motor, so you would need the V-Green 2.7 HP Round Flange 56J Variable Speed Motor - ECM27CU. We recommend getting the Jandy JHP / JHPU Series Pump Tune Up Kit - GOKIT77 so you have all new o-rings and a new motor shaft seal for a leak-free installation. Program it correctly to start saving on your electric bill as soon as it is installed.
Note that your old motor could operate on 115 volts but the variable-speed motors require 220 volts, so be sure you have 220 volts to your equipment pad before getting the new motor.
