I have a single speed 1 hp 220 pump originally with 1.5" piping when the pool heater was installed they used 2" to tie this in after the filter returning to pool 1.5 " pipe. My pool is approx 13,000 gal regular chlorine pool but thinking of switching to salt system also. What variable spped motor would be properly sized for my pool

Hello Coop45 - We'd be glad to assist you. As far as a complete VS pump, we recommend the PureLine Prime VS model PL2605. This is a 1.65HP variable speed pump. This pump has 2" ports but you can use reducers.
If you're looking for the VS motor only, we'll need to know the make and model of the current pump.
