What size electric pool heater would you recommend for a 20 x 48 above ground pool?

Hi Susie,
My suggestion would be the Hayward 50,000 BTU Above Ground Pool Heat Pump. This is an electric heat pump which draws in the outside air to heat your water, this type of heating is very energy efficient.
If you are looking for a purely electric heater then I would suggest the 11 KW Hayward Electric Heater, this heater costs much more to operate.
