I found a broken slinger just lying in the Maxflo pump housing.  Your new motor AST125 arrived with a thin slinger already sitting on the shaft. However, a more substantive rubber slinger would fit neatly IN the housing/on the shaft but would not spin! No value doing this?  So, do I just leave the lighter rubber slinger ride the shaft, spinning, and hope it won't tear itself apart?
