Have changed lateral lines, pipe and hub along with sand and still have sand entering pool thru water inlet in an above ground pool. What else can I do?

- Did you use the correct sand? It should be a #20 silica sand.
- If you have a multiport valve, check the spider gasket and make sure it's not pinched or damaged.
- After you backwash, run the filter in the rinse position for a couple of minutes. This will help prevent sand from returning to the pool after a backwash.
