How do I tell if my salt chlorinator is going bad?  I’ve cleaned and acid washed my salt chlorinator but still can’t get my chlorine level back to the 2600 - 3100 ppm reading no matter how much salt I add. Is this a sign that my salt chlorinator is going bad?

The most likely cause of an incorrect salt reading is a failing salt cell. Check out our guide titled "How to Know When a Salt Cell is Bad".
