Hello Pat - Thank you for contacting Inyo. A good single speed option would be model PL2602. The PL2602 is a 1.5HP single speed pump.
If you want something more energy efficient, we recommend model number PL2605. The PL2605 is a 1.65HP variable speed pump.

excellent...what about the noise factor ?...what woulf the most quiet between Hayward and other brands you carry ?

The noise output of the single speed prime is similar to the Hayward Max-Flo and Super Pump. The variable speed Prime pump is very quiet when you start to drop the rpm's.

The Pure Flow 1.5HP PL1601 is not going to provide the same flow as your 1.5HP Max-flo or the 1.5HP PureLine Prime. I would recommend the PL2602 or another 1.5HP Hayward.
