I would recommend the PureLine Prime model PL2603. It's a 2HP but the output would be similar to your 1.5HP Challenger. It's not a drop-in replacement. Some plumbing would be required.

After calling into your customer service, I decided to replace the motor not the whole pump. I believe I found the right motor but need help with the proper seal.

Heeled is what I have in my cart. Do I need any additional seals or other materials to swap out the pump motor?

You wouldn't need anything else. That seal kit will work as long as you have a CH series Challenger.

Looks like I have the cf series so this is what my cart looks like now - had to change to the square o-rings

Yes, everything looks correct.
One last thing. Make sure your current motor has a service factor of 1.1. If so, that will match the B2854 motor that you have in the cart.
