I purchases a B2982 dual speed pool motor to replace my single speed. After I installed it I found out I needed to purchase the switch. I purchased the HI-OFF-LO switch and would like help connecting the wires.
To my pump I have 2 black wires and a green.
The pump has a ground screw, an A screw, L1 screw and L2 screw.
The switch ahs a white wire with a connector that looks like it is connected to the HI position, a yellow wire with a black strip (no connector, just bare wire) connected to the OFF/Middle switch position, and another yellow wire with a connector that is connected to the LO position of the switch.
Can you tell me what wires go where. Right now the pump motor runs fine with the t2 black wires connected to the L1 and L2 screws and the green wire to the green/ground screw.
Help please.
