I purchased a motor last year and installed no problem. There is air in the system and found a cracked wall where the gasket for the strainer goes. I have an order ready to go for the housing, cover, unions, and salt gasket kit, but as you can see, I cannot remove the pump housing without destroying and re-routing the pipes, even the valves. For some reason, the pool company did not use unions. Any ideas?
