What would be a good choice of pump, filter, and salt generator to use on our new  12’x24’x54” above ground pool.?

thank you

Hello Francis - Thank you for contacting Inyo. Below are our recommendations for your 12'x24'x54" above ground pool.

Hayward model C4001575XES. This is a 40 square foot cartridge filter and a 1HP pump.

Hayward AquaTrol RJ - This is a salt system designed for pools up to 18,000 gallons. The cell will hook up to your return jet and the control will plug into a standard outlet.

I just changed my salt cell this year and ever since I got the pool running it's been telling me I have high salt levels, when I take the water to the pool supply house they say my salt is fine, they recommended watching your video on recalibrating my aquatrol generator. I've gone through and I'm not seeing the option on the screen for the salt cell size , trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong

Hi ShawnTodd,

Our Video is on How to Recalibrate an AquaRite which is very similar to the AquaTrol. However, I believe there are some differences between the AquaRite and AquaTrol one being that the AquRite uses several different salt cells thus the need to select your cell size. There is only one cell that goes with the AquaTrol so I believe when recalibrating the AquaTrol you are not given the option to select a cell size as there is only one option.

Thank You

Patrick
