Is it better to use the mechanical pool timer for pool schedule or to use the variable speed pump setting when it comes to the slat chlorinator? I'm thinking of bypassing the pool timer, keep it always on and use the variable speed pump schedule and setting but I'm wondering how to hook up the chlorinator to turn on when the pump turns on.
I know the SCG has a sensor that detects the water flow but I saw online that it's better to wire the SCG to the timer clock. How would the wiring be if I use the pump schedule instead?
