I recently purchased a home with a pool. The light in the pool is fine the light for the spa flickers at first then goes out completely. Do I have a bad bulb?

If it's an incandescent bulb, it could be the filament going bad. There could also be some water in the light fixture. Either way, you'd want to open it up and take a look. Obviously, turn the power off at the breaker before checking the light.
