Ive got a spa heater problem that just isn't making sense. The primary condition qualifier is that the heater stays on as long as the jandy valve is set for the heater water to enter the pool jets. When i turn the valve to direct the flow to the spa jets, the sta-rite HLS error code is present.
Just to rule out the heater, even though it works for hours when directed to the pool. i tested the termostat and replaced the HLS sensor since it was only a few dollars.
Leaving the heat off and spa jets on, the flow looks fine/normal. good amount water and bubbles from all four jets.
I'm stumped, since i've really eleminated a 'heater' problem and more apparently a flow, just that flow looks and feels normal. suggestions?
