I have a Haugh's Sunray 18' round above ground pool, which I bought in 1994. The coping strip that holds the liner in place is completely cracked up. You have several different coping strips in your catalog, and I don't know which one to choose.

My pool has a 4' high metal wall. On top of that is a metal slotted tube that gives rigidity to the top of the wall. The OD of the tube is 1/2". The pool liner overlaps the tube and the coping holds the liner in place over the slotted tube. The coping would need to be a minimum of 1/2" inside. I already have tried your part# 1382480, but it is definitely too small. I think it should be a minimum of 1/2" ID and possibly even 9/16 for a snug fit over the liner. I have the original manual with pictures of the parts, but no part numbers. If you wish I can scan the pages and email them to you.

Can you tell me which coping I need?

Hi John,

I'm sorry the 1382480 did not work. Yes if you could post the scanned manual to this post that would be most helpful, just click on the "Mountain" icon in the text editor to upload your photos.

Also could you post a photo(s) of the coping strip with a measuring tape in the photo at the key measurement points.

All this information would help us track down the right coping strip.

Thank You

Thanks Patrick,

I have taken some picture and measurements

It looks like the coping is 5/8" outside diameter and 1/2" inside diameter. coping

We do have the 1384126 Haughs Coping Strip which measures 1/2" across and may work for you. I have posted a photo below.

It is hard for me to see, but is the 1/2" across on the inside or the outside?

The 1/2" would be on the outside, also the bottom comes sided comes together so the plastic is actually touching the bottom side is plyable so it is designed to spread out.

That would be the same as the 1382480 which is too small. You catalog also shows a Wilbar NBP2001 wit an inside diameter of 1/2". Do you have that available?

John,

I pulled the 1382480 the NBP2001 and the 1384126 and they are all identical. If you already tried the 1382480 and it did not work then these other part #'s will not work either. Unfortunately these are the only round plastic coping strips we carry and I'm not aware of anyone who supplies the larger size you are looking for. I'm sorry we could not find this for you.

Thank You
