Ice purchased the V-Green motor as specified in the title and despite confirmations from InyoPools and the supplier the pool company connecting the pump to the motor states that it eill not fit. Since this unit comes as share or round flange 56j and is an exact match to the motor being replaced ( this motor leaked and lasted 4 mo) the only reason I can think of that the V-Green won't pair is that it and the motor it replaces were both ordered as round clang and that it must be a square flange. HOWEVER, all Hayward SuperPumps are round flange. So, I'm at a loss.... can anyone assist?
note:
i also looked up the manual at the Hayward site and it only lists single speed motors as OE (original equipment).
the pool company said I'd need to buy a matching pump.
