I need an energy efficient drop in replacement motor (or motor+pump assembly) for my saltwater pool. I'm having trouble finding enough information to make an informed purchase. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The energy efficient single speed replacement motor would be model UCT1102. The most energy efficient option would be model ECM16CU. The ECM16CU is a 1.65HP variable speed motor.
We'd also recommend replacing the seals when you replace the motor. Do you know the make and model of your pump? If not, you can post a picture of the complete pump.

The pump doesn't have any markings or labels on it. I had to replace the lid last year. A Heyward lid fit it perfect.

It looks like you have a Hayward Super Pump. The seal kit for a saltwater pool is part number GOKIT3SALT.
