Hello Jim51442 - Model number 177474-81 could be one of two motors. If your motor is a 3/4HP, you'll need model B2847. If it's 1HP, you'll need model B2853.
We'll need to know the make and model of the pump side before we can recommend the seals. If you're not sure of the model you can post a picture of the complete pump.

Here is the pump picture. While I have you, my polaris pump is making a loud squealing noise. I probably should change it too. Here are 2 pictures of it. Should I replace just the motor or wholr pump. You can call me at 850-837-1936. Jim McDowell

Your pool pump appears to be an American Products Ultra Flo. The tune up kit is GOKIT20.
As far as the booster pump, it's usually ok to get by with replacing the motor and seals.
We also have a great article titled "Pump or Motor: To Replace or Not to Replace". Hopefully, the article will help guide you in the direction of a motor or complete pump.
