I have a Hayward DE filter. When I hook up the vacuum hose to the skimmer, the filter complains a little but the vacuum does have suction but only for a few minutes. Then I lose prime and the motor is running but there is no water flow or suction. I’m afraid I’m going to burn the motor out. As it is I have to wait 15 minutes or so to let the motor cook down before I can operate the filter. Please help!
