I have an Intermatic T40000RT3 with a T104 timer running a single pool pump on a 220v 20 amp circuit. Is there a drop in ditigal replacement timer for the T104? I'm not looking for anything special, I would just like something that is easier to program multiple times. Thank you.

Thank you for contacting Inyopools.com. The digital replacement mechanism for the T104 is part number P1353ME.

Thank you. I was hoping for something I could pop in, this looks like I would have to modify the housing; my panel just has a 3 5/8" round hole.

Can you post a picture of your Intermatic panel?

The only option I can think of is to cut the existing front plate or replace it. It's key 9 in the image below. The plate is part number 24TP5738.

Yup, that looks right. Thank you.

You're welcome. Good luck!

I was looking at some pictures and it turns out I was wrong...

This new plate mounts with 2 screws, one on each side. The original mounts with 1 screw at the top (as pictured). I just checked - my box does not have the tabs on the sides for the 2 screws. :-(

Guess that means I would have to replace the whole panel to go digital...

Thanks again.

Replacing the whole thing may be the way to go. You could drill holes in the new plate so that it matched up with the existing holes in your panel.

The new plate only extends halfway up the box and the only screw holes or tab to put screw holes in, is at the very top as pictured. I'm not up for replacing the whole thing till it breaks and then I will go with remote etc.

I was trying to do something nice for the wife, but I'll have to earn my points another way.

Thanks again for your kindness and time.
