Hello,

Need some help here, i have a Hayward Northstar SP4000 I believe it's the older one 2007 and below. I recently installed new bearings in my AO smith motor. It also has a new impeller, diffuser, shaft seals and O-rings. When i re-installed it, it immediately started leaking through the bottom of motor vents. I disassembled and found that the impeller was bottoming out before it compressed the shaft seal onto the white ceramic disk. These are all factory Hayward parts bought from you guys. Would there be a spacer or something missing that will make up the difference to compress the spring on the seal?

I also checked the new bearing and it's wet and already rusting!!

THanks,

Joe
