I have an in ground vinyl pool. I had liner replaced two years ago. The foam insulation floats up every winter an I have to drain th pool to just above the bottom of the shallow end in order to pull the vinyl side away from the metal side wall to have it forced down flat instead of all rolled up.
My question is is it alright to o have the foam removed and in that way avoid the problem of the foam floating up at the end of each pool season.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.
