Hooking ECM16CU into aqua plus

I am thinking about purchasing the Ecm16cu variable speed motor to replace my single speed super pump motor. I have a Hayward aqua plus salt system/ controller that currently turns my pump on and off with the built in timer. 

Per the instructions it looks like you can hook the ecm16cu into the aquaplus system to control the motor speeds. Has anyone done this?  If so can you provide instructions?

Hello Bmunch74 - You would connect the ECM16CU directly to the Aquaplus the same way you connected the single speed motor. You would then set the timer to turn the ECM16CU on at a certain time. The ECM16CU would then progress through the different settings that you've programmed at the motor.
