Looking to replace my old AO Smith Model K48M2N110 with a variable speed motor. It is hooked up to a Hayward RS1500. I run the pool around 8 hours a day year round. I have seperate spa pump as well.
Any recommendations?

Hello BartonJunior - The variable speed option for your K48M2N110 is model ECM27CU. This is a 2.7HP variable speed motor that will bolt right up to the Hayward RS1500.
We also recommend replacing the seals when you replace the motor. The seal kit is GOKIT2. Use GOKITSALT2 if you have salt water.
