It has been about a month or so since I used the flock in my pool to drop the dead algae. We had a hard freeze right after that and left town for an emergerncy right after that. Long story short, never got to vaccum all that dead sediment. Now I have new algae besides the unpicked dead one. CAn I shock it again and vaccum or should I vaccum and then shock again to do another round of flock.

Hi Alex26.
It would be better to vacuum the flocked dead and live algae out of the pool before you treat the live algae. FYI, you will have to vacuum flocked sediment to waste, not through your filter.
