By mid summer my salt pool generates a slight electrolysis effect I.e., a very slight stinging sensation when touching the railing &/or coping.  Noticeable mostly to children or if one has a paper cut on finger. I am concerned for safety; what causes this and how to eliminate.

Hello V1q8hb - They are feeling a slight stinging sensation because the metals around your pool are attracting small amounts of electricity from the salt water when the chlorine is produced. We would recommend using a Zinc Sacrificial Anode. The anode is an anti-electrolysis device. Basically, the zinc anode attracts the electricity and sacrifices itself. It will also help prevent other metals in the pool from rusting.
