We don't recommend trying to repair the bodies of a pool filter. They are under a lot of pressure when the pump is running. The last thing you want is for the filter to blow up while you're not around. It can cause the pool to drain and the pump to run dry.

Do they make any type of a tank adapter flange to fit different valve assemblies as my tank is good but the flange and valve assembly is cracked that would save quite a bit of money the actual valve assembly from Doughboy Pools is just as much as a aftermarket complete filter so if I can get an aftermarket valve assembly to adapt to it be good I want to say that the opening is right around 12 in

Unfortunately, none of our aftermarket valves say they are compatible with a Doughboy filter. I'd consider going with a more common filter from Hayward, Pentair, or Waterway. The replacement parts are much more readily available.
