Hi Will a Hayward sp0715xr50 variflo multiport valve work on my jandy del 48 or do I need the sm20-2 only.

The correct valve for the Jandy DEl 48 is part number A0553645. The SM20-2 could be used but you would have to add the plumbing to and from the filter. I don't have any information that says the Hayward SP0715XR50 will work with the Jandy DEL 48.
