I am re-surfacing my pool using the pebbles. I'm being pushed to consider the Sense and Dispense, though I already have the Chlorine Genie chlorinating system. I like the idea of a salt water pool, but what I am most pursuing is the least maintenance for the least cost.

Hi Melbourne,
The Sense and Dispense and the Chlorine Genie are essentially doing the same thing, they are producing chlorine through a salt cell and they are monitoring and maintaining your pH. pH levels can get high in a salt chlorinated pool so it is nice to have this feature built in. I personally have not used the Chlorine Genie, but I did check out some their website and video's and it looks like an interesting piece of equipment. I would give the Chlorine Genie a shot since you already have it purchased and if it does what it says it will then you will have minimal pool maintenance.
