I have an 18' above ground atrium pool that is 8 years old and I bought it recently. The filter system is sand but I want to use my Hayward DE filter from my previous - will the fittings corresond?

Hi Bzinbby2,
It depends on two systems, if they were both above ground pool systems then normally the fittings where the hose from the pool to the pump connect and the hose connects from the pool to the filter, is called a combo fitting and this accepts either 1.5" or 1.25" hose. Could you take a picture of both systems and post to this thread? That would help out a lot.
